The photo on the left was taken around 1970, by my good friend, Jerry Aldoroty. It is an Austin America made by British Leyland.
It was my first (and only) new car.It was the big brother of the Mini Cooper, similar running gear the (except the engine and trans
shared the same oil, a really bad idea) but different suspension and somewhat heavier,the picture on the right is what it looked like.
By the way mine was yellow too (the same color as a lemon).
