2006 trip

This year, I could only stay a week. Luckily, The Dad got in touch with his friend Bob, and he took us fishing on the upper Kenai River.

The 4 photos above this are the start of the day @ 5:37am.Top right is at the Russian River landing, where we stopped to take a leak.

Bottom left is the boat launch at Skilak Lake, and on the right is looking to the South-West.

This is going West toward the entrance of the Upper Kenai, looking back.

The left shot is looking West at the entrance to the Kenai. The one on the right is The Dad and Bob (already having too much fun).

On the upper left is a closer shot of the entrance to the Kenai, and the other three are just shots as we were traveling.

The four pictures above are ones that I took while doing what I do best .

The two above are to PROVE, we caught fish.

The upper left is looking East, towards Skilak, and the one on the right is the "Mysterious Bunny Cloud".

These two pictures are where we drifted most of the day.

More actual proof of landing fish .

Actually we caught about 25 fish this day, The Dad caught about 15 of them (Bob and I were going to throw him overboard).

Compare the Smoothness of the lake when we arrived, as to when we left. Bob has been fishing on this lake most of his life,

and has been on the Skilak when the wind picks up unexpectedly and the waves get to be about 6 ft.

When we finally got home!

Sunday Fishing with my little sister and The Dad

This is the Eklutna Tailrace, situated just north of Anchorage about 25 miles (and about 15 minuites from Dad's house).

The Department of Fish and Game stocks this area with some fish, it has runs of Kings, Reds, Humpy's and Silvers.

Picture on left is looking west from the bridge, and on the right is looking east.

Me and my sister.
